#1 and company played in the woods behind our tent until it was time to shower and eat. These campsites have been awesome for us. It's never been pleasant to stay in a hotel, even with a suite, mostly because the kids had to be quiet and couldn't run free. Camping has been a good solution for us, and the last two nights everyone has slept better than we slept at home, with #5 only waking once during the night to nurse. I brought some of my Pioneer Woman iced coffee with me on this trip, along with some truvia and a little half and half. Some mornings, I've opted to try something new, be it a McDonald's iced coffee, or one from Starbucks. I'm here to tell you, I've found nothing that compares to the Pioneer Woman iced coffee. That's my Public Service Announcement for today.

That's a river y'all. Not a lake. Not the ocean. A monster of a river. And it just goes on and on and on like. For miles y'all. And all #4 could say as we drove along it for hours was "Alligator!"

Crossing Utah State Line

RC packing up our tent after staying at Jacob Lake last night. We made it to the sight just before dark, but managed to get the tent up, weenies roasted, and s'mores made and eaten before the sun set. If I ever meet the person who invented a 9 person tent my husband can set up himself in just a few minutes, Im going to give him a hug. Or a tip. Or something like that.
