Poured with rain most of the night but the clouds have now cleared and it's another gorgeous day. Had breakfast with the koalas (they are so lovely). We then had a look around the wildlife park before heading to the play park and pool. Went home for a quick nap before heading for cocktails at one tree hill to see the sunset. Our new car is a golf buggy. How strange but great fun!!!!! Took it out for a test drive first thing before heading to the beach and then the pool. The weather is fabulous (hope you all didn't take too much time scrapping your car windscreens this morning!!!!!). Left Brisbane for Hamilton Island. Only a short flight (1 1/2 hours). Omg.... Bunk beds and what a fabulous place with a most amazing view. This is definitely how the other half live. Went for a swim in the holiday home infinity pool. Again it has the most amazing view. We then went for a wander round the island and stopped off at the cafe for a large chocolate donut (everything is so much bigger here). We then had a BBQ on our verandah whilst watching ...

Saw the tiger show. Then went to see the Rhinos, giraffes, zebras, wombats and the birds in the Aviary. We were then lucky enough to meet the koalas and stroke them.Had a fab day. Driving to Brisbane now as flying to Hamilton Island tomorrow
