Venice... (sigh) one of my favourites... we had 'the voice' in our hotel, great food, excellent wine, a moonlit gondola ride with very light rain falling... the most romantic place I have been.

Milano... shopping, eating, lago di como - stunning! Milan reminded me a bit of melbourne... and as for lake como - I must go back! amazing...
