morning from beautiful and freezing New zealand!!!! we have finally managed to book a week of skying in queenstown for the 16th of july (after school holidays) and take advantage of a 10 day gap to cruise around south island in a van. we waited a few hours in Christchurch to have our van ready, but the fiats ducato (the modern ones ) had all a problem or were dirty so instead we got the grandad van which is normally more costly and in which you can only do 100 km an hour max foot on the floor!!! it drinks a lot of petrol, though tonight our van company should deliver the right van to us down here in beautiful Dunedin!!! two days ago, Mark walked on snow capped mountains for the first time of his life on the way to mount cook, the highest mountain in new zealand 3700 meters, quite a difference from Indo, it felts surreal to be in meters deep snow!!!! Mark was like a kid!!! we are loving it in our little house and it is nice to have to do normal chores again after being treated like a sultan in Indo, like food shopping and cooking!!! ok, we are off to milford sound and fiordland parks tomorrow,, bree bree more cold to come!!!! can not wait next week to see Mark on hus butt while learning to snowboard!!! aaah aaah aaahg
