Ann, your photos are truly amazing. Such a good eye. The ones of the dam and the Nut, extra special. The colour of the water, so beautiful. Neidras right, get your watercolours out girl! How lovely of the people at Colac library to provide so much assistance. I'll send you another email shortly of my own travels, another 4 days and I meet up with Neidra. Very exciting. Stay safe and well, kisses to the boys and Comie. XxxCath.

Well have read the adventures from cover to cover! WOW! I can't believe you have covered so much ground. The beauty of the country in all weathers and vista's as diverse as only a continent can provide. And you are only through a small portion of the country. I did wonder how the crossing would be for everyone, they say the Tasman Straight can be nasty, similar to the Cook's Strait crossing of NZ. Poor Comet, I'd love to travel in Tasmania, rugged and picturesque. Now onto the Great Ocean Road, you lucky things. Ann have you had time to draw? I hope you or Mark are the DOP and a movie will be produced. Take care and safe travels!!
Ross
Greetings Guys
Interesting to see your photos out by the dam we never went out that way.Thats a good drive through Derwent Bridge and on to Queenstown , I believe the mine at Mt Lyle is closing perhaps Queenstown will finish up a bit like Zeehan. Some great history down around Strahan and Macquarie Harbour.Friends of ours have just come back from a months caravaning down there and they mentioned the bush fires up in that north west area
Glad to hear Comet wasn't to stressed making the crossing back to the mainland I imagine that would have lessened Ann's stress as well The Ottway coast will certainly be something to see although they have had their own problems with fires recently any way enough of that stay safe Love Ross and Kerry

Seems all is going well, very nice rural area down there on the Mornington peninsula, Kerry and I stayed at Mt. Eliza last November, that little village of Flinders is a good spot. How long are you there for before you head of to Tassie? I saw on the news a couple of weeks ago it was snowing on Mt Wellington often advisable to check road conditions if you are intending to travel to any altitude down there, I remember when I was there a few years ago we had snow and ice at Cradle Mountain in October.(NB These advisory weather reports come at no cost to the recipient) It has been very hot and dry here in recent weeks anyhow take it easy and I will catch you later stay safe Ross
