It seems like the adventures are coming thick and fast in north and central Qld. I was interested to hear about your trip out to Paronella Park, I had heard something only recently on late night radio about that place and the man responsible for it, apparently after toiling away for a dozen years or so on cane farms etc to finance his vision he returned home to Europe to bring his betrothed out to share his dream only to find that she had hit the frog and toad with some other bloke so he picked up with her sister and returned with her instead and lived happily ever after, a man of vision not easily put off.
The dinosaur diversion seemed like a hit bearing in mind Spencer's knowledge of these prehistoric things.
Sounds terrific at Frazer Island although you could leave me out of tidal crossings and waves over bonnets. Glad to hear you came through unscathed, I'll bet comet was glad to see you.
Great to hear you are all having such a wonderful time Love from Kerry and Ross xx

Spence, seems so appropriate for you to be doing the Dinosaur Triangle. Especially you. I'm thinking of all the little plastic dinosaur statues that are on the verandah up The River house, or Treehouse as I call it. And you were doing a bit of chicken wrangling! Or rather, as Mum said, helping with proceedings. If I ever need to conduct a chicken race, I'll know who to call. Your birthday soon lovely boy. Haliburton Lodge to you too! Auntie Cath. Love to Comet and Mum and a Dad.

Hi Lovelies, I don't know where to start! I've been slack and left it for quite a few weeks ( wandering
myself over to NZ for a few days with Neidra), the photos as usual Ann are just breathtaking. What a time you are having. Paranella Park.....get out, who knew!! The accompanying written commentary brilliant also. Personally, the tropics do it for me. I'm loving the beach shots and the fantastic vegetation. All so impressive. Thanks for the calls and emails as well. Love the fab 4! Spencer......Haliburton Lodge! Cxxxxxx

Hi Spencer the old buildings in the park looked really cool. See you soon

Thanks for the call the other day, I have been some what slack regarding my correspondence recently. The photos are fantastic so many amazing and varying landscapes to see up north. I hope equipment problems, tyres etc are behind you now.
The Swans were a bit disappointing yesterday its to be hoped the Sharks can do the trick later today. Mark, knowing your penchant for the game of cricket you would have been sorry to hear of Max "Tangles" Walker's death last week, sad loss of a great character.
Anyhow stay safe and well,
Ross and Kerry
Auntie Cath
Thanks for ringing so often and keeping us in the loop. I can't believe the quality of the photos Ann, must have something to do with the exquisite quality of the scenery......and the skill of the photographer. Well done girl! Mark, it's time to update the Dunlop Volley's. And maybe some of the boardies. Nah, just kidding! Keep having the time of your lives, stay safe. Love you all. Cath.
Spencer
Hi Regan, good to hear from you, not sure what you got the trophy for, but well done.

Hello Mr. Bessell
Thanks for looking at the Blog, we are having a great time and Comet is too. We are in Alice Springs at the moment. There is lots of rain at the moment , so I have been doing lots of schoolwork. Just about to head up to Cape York.
Mum and Dad say a big hello to you as well.
Geoffrey Bessell
Well, Spencer, I have had a read through all of your adventures and I can see that you and your family are having a truly wonderful adventure. How has Comet been holding out? I am sure he has been right in the middle of all the excitement. Enjoy the rest of your adventure and say hello to your Mum and Dad, and of course Comet.
