We are now at Kalbarri. We have visited the pinnacles, stayed at Billy's bay, Green head for a couple of nights free camping. There were some fabulous sunsets over the ocean. We journeyed north towards Ger'o' -Geraldton although no one calls it that. North again past the horizontal trees, driving towards Kalbarri, the pink lake ( wondering if it was just a product of the chemical plant near it) then on past incredible coastal cliffs and into town where the Murchison river heads out to sea. Lovely spot for swimming and fishing.
We stayed 4 days at Murchison station (340,000 acres) they are getting bigger. We camped in a special spot right on the banks of the river in amongst gums. We used this as a base to explore the National parks. Z bend was Spencer's favourite , a walk with some use of ladders down into the gorge, the colours are incredible. There was also Natures window, of which I will put a photo in a album when I get a chance. We have really loved this part of our adventure. More to come on our way to another station ,so possible no reception for a while. Sorry it's so short and sweet, but we have just pulled off the side of the road near a telecom tower to get internet.
