Arrived in phuket 2 days ago. what a nightmare. this place is hell on earth. i watched the film "devils Advocate" on tv last night and i thought of the Devil character that he probably runs this town. What a westernised hell hole. Burger king, mcdonalds, starbucks, baskin robins, etc etc. Pretty difficult to get any thai food here. unless you go out of the town a bit! if i had know it would be like this i would have cut of my feet to stop me get...

koh lanta the most amazing approach to the island. so beautiful couldnt capture it with my photographic skills. 19 hour trip from koh tao. overnight ferry: 100 people jammed in on the floor of a rickety ferry for 9 hours. the amount of mosquitos on that boat its a surprise we werent all dead. Waited for another 2 hours for the next bus, which shouldd take 2 hours to the next stop, only to be told i would be on the second bus. second bus my ass! got shoved...

Wooh.. Koh Tao... I like it here. Did two diving courses and am now an Advanced Open Water diver. Swam with sharks, barracudas. The night dive was awesome and was like being on a different planet. Strange but after the first day training in the pool and getting used to breathing under water i was thinking this was not for me. A day later at 18m under the sea a minor panic and i thought it was curtains... Now i am loving it and cant wait for the deep dive...

5 days on koh phagnan........chilled out a lot.. went to see a waterfall and a snake slithered across my foot......just as well i had the brown troosers on....only kidding! nice place. went to the half moon party for a couple of hours but the music was dire. went home and had a beer on the hammock........aaaahhhh....!

kho samui.........or marbella! when did they mive marbella to thailand!!!!???? i am out of here tomorrow....koh phangan and no mulletted germans and brits...
