Melbourne: We decided to spend a few days in Melbourne and meet up with some of our friends from school who worked out there. Luckily they let us stay with them as they had a spare room which meant me and Laura saved a few pennies.
Melbourne is different from the other cities we've visited and has a very european feel, buildings, food etc. We visited most of the city sites and also went down to St Kilda for the day. We also went out to watch the FA Cup final on the town and again noticed how everything seems british. On the whole though were really glad we decided to go there.
Sydney: We flew (yet again) to Sydney and checked into the cheapest hostel we could find but were pleasantly surprised on how nice it was. Not only did we meet loads of new friends but they offered so many activities and free food (which is always good).
We visited the Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Museums and China town etc. We've taken some amazing photos (which will be on soon) and also let our hair down for 4days which is suprisingly something you don't do very often when travelling.
We went to Bondi beach today as the weather was really nice its where all the celebrities apparently go but we didn't see any. However as most of you may know I proposed to Laura during an evenings stroll on a viewpoint overlooking the Opera house and the Harbour Bridge (quite romantic really even if i do say so myself), Laura said yes and we celebrated but using some free drink tokens we were given.
