Hello from Singapore airport! Don't worry, I haven't gone all geeky and decided to sight see in an airport! I am experiencing a min. 3hr delay for my flight to Oz as its late from England. I think that because its 7/7 they have been doing extra security checks so its caused delays everywhere. Oh well understandable really. Its all on the news here, so I've been thinking about this time last year and how quickly the time has gone. The airport is great. Written all your postcards so look out for those over the next week and had a coffee in a massage chair. Qantas are great and have given us food and drink vouchers so I'm not that bothered about the delay. Singapore has been great over the last day or so. My youth hostel was amazing, so much nicer than the hotel I had the first night. The other night I went to the night safari and saw Indian rhinos and a giant anteater - needless to say I got very excited. Yesterday I went shopping on Orchard Rd, I didn't buy too much due to being on a budget and the weight of my bag already! Although it has decreased to 14.1kg which is good. Last night I went to Raffles with Nadia, the girl that I have been sharing a room with through Asia. Raffles just has to be done, even though the Singapore Slings are $19! But that us just over 6GBP which you could pay in a nightclub anyway. Raffles was amazing. Its a hotel, shopping centre and a museum - how many hotels have a Tiffany's in them too!? Really like Singapore and would always come back here and do stop overs. There is plenty left to do that I didn't do on this trip, but I do expect I will be coming through here again. Well, better go and attempt to find out what is happening with my plane. Drank far too much coffee as usual so feeling a bit wired, won't be sleeping on the 9hr flight but managed to track down some footy mags and bought a new book so should be ok. Hope you are ok.
