Well the first few days of the trip back in June we had the awning on the trailer damaged by a hail storm. The LAST few days of the trip we blew a wheel bearing on the trailer. Happy Birthday to our son Scott! We are presently in Rimouski, Quebec. So far in our travels in Quebec we have received wonderful receptions, unlike when we travelled through here 30 odd years ago. We spent 10 days in the Toronto area, visiting with friends and our son Dennis who lives there and works for Air Canada. I (Maria) was able to go home to visit with our much beloved grandson. We could still see smoke from the Saskatchewan Forest fires well into Ontario. This photo was taken several hours before sunset, while the sun was still high in the sky, near the Manitoba/Ontario border. (Richer, MB) Apparently people from back home in BC are seeing the same type of sun as they, too, are suffering from lots of forest fires.
