Lazy day today saving energy for our big night in Monaco! The boys played a bug of rugby and then went for a dip in the sea which was right by the campsite.
Nice to actually get dressed up again! Lou wasn't drinking so decided to sober drive us all in black Betty which was hilarious . We all piled in and had a few drinks and funnels to get the ball rolling. Monaco is a small principality between Italy and France in the cliffs on the coast and is where all the high rollers take their lamboghinis and super yachts for a few weekends each year. So you can imagine how a van tour van looked parked up next to a £10million super yacht. We found a park and wandered along the marina up to the Monte Carlo casino, stopping at a pub on the way to fuel up.
Just standing outside the casino watching the cars pull up for the valet was amazing, no corollas here!! Ten euro entrance fee into the first part of the casino with minimal games (had to really dress up and pay more to get into the next rooms) so we had pokies, roulette, black jack to play around on. About ten minutes in ange comes back with 600€ from the pokies which was awesome! We didn't quite have the same luck. We broke even but some of the others lost quite a bit so we did ok. Could've come away up a hundy but we decided to have one last go in the roulette and lost it. Typical.
