Nothing to see on the south coast of Sicily except dirty beach after dirty beach. No big towns just fields and farmers. Agrigento has a valley filled with Greek ruins if you like that sort of thing. I actually stopped for lunch by them and took a peek around.

Ragusa and Modica both world heritage cities where cities hanging on the cliff much like Cucena in Spain. Very neat towns in the hills.

01.17.08 Siracusa, Italy Okay first things first Rome to Sicily…Holy Cow what an adventure.This is what you have to look forward to in this issue:dirty beaches, rain, trash piled as high as the Alps, lawless streets,rain, being rear ended on my bike, top of a volcano, rain, bottom of a volcano and what it looks like after it erupts, breath taking coastline and twisting road along the edge, rain, ferry boat ride, SICILY, rain, breaking down on the road, ...

So the last two days have been way packed with amazing things some beatiful and some just interesting. I mean go from being rear ended in Naples to the top of a volcano to riding through snow capped mountians be ferrying across to sicily and that is not even really the beginning so stay tuned for the proper blog entry and all the pictures...oh and the rear ending thing i am ok and so is the bike...too funny...more to come when i am not paying and have my own comp...
