So we arrived in Airlie beach and camped at base hostel, going to bed early so we could be fresh for our Whitsunday cruise for 2 nights and 3 days. Yesterday we left mission beach and made our way to Townsville. All route of us in the van! We stopped at Townsville and went for a walk along the beach front which is lovely although the water looks a bit brown. We made dinner with our camping equipment which didn't go too well. So today we got the campervan from spaceship!! It's called espacio! At the moment in the van is clare, Dariush (aka BFG big friendly german) and Lisa is joining us tomorrow. The beach here is beautiful but supposedly it was nicer pre-cyclone. Mission beach is just a seaside town so not much to report apart from it's the beginning of our journey!!
