So we arrived in Airlie beach and camped at base hostel, going to bed early so we could be fresh for our Whitsunday cruise for 2 nights and 3 days. Airlie breach is absolute paradise, the people here made the right decision in life on where to live. There are palm trees everywhere, clear and sunny skies, beaches and turquoise water. Our cruise was on the Wings 2 catamaran. It was small enough but we all managed to fit. Te first day we went snorkelling and it was freezing!!! But there are definatelymore fish here than at the reef at cairns. It was harder to see the reef here because it's deeper. That night we were served dinner and watched the Ireland v Australia rugby match. Ireland won!! Wooop. There was a stag do on our boat with loads of ones fro England who were very into rugby so they set it up, yeo! Te next day we went snorkelling in the morning just after breakfast. The reef here was so clear bad we saw so many fish. Luckily we got to see a sea turtle too!! "dude Mr. Turtle is my father" (finding Nemo). After this we had lunch and sailed to Whitehaven beach on the Whitsunday Island. I cannot even describe how stubbing this beach was, it was perfect. The sad is so white you can clean jewellery! If you take off your sunglasses it's blinds you. Here we just sunbathed, swam and the crew took some pretty funny picture of everyone jumping and doing funny poses. The water was so clear. After we headed to a different bay to have dinner and stay for the night. On the way we were lucky enough to see humpback Wales I the water near out boat. It was so amazing. So that night after dinner we all looked at the photos laughing quite a lot!!! Then everyone just sat out at the front of the boat drinking and singing and generally having a good time. We also ended the night, once most people had gone to bed, doing a but if star gazing and trying to sleep outside but it wasn't too comfortable so we just went on to bed. The last day we got up early and again there was more chances to snorkel but all we could manage to do was sunbathe :s we then made our way back to Airlie. After a mid-day snooze we met up with everyone from the boat that night, had dinner and went out. It was a pretty good night :) so today we have just gotten up slowly and went to the beach to sunbathe. We are now on our way to 1770.
