Yesterday we arrived in Greymouth where we went to the Montieth brewery. We arrived here yesterday after travelling most of the day. I'm in the South Island!!! Abel Tasman is a national park and has the most amount of sunshine out of anywhere in NZ. So I survived!! We did the alpine crossing which was much harder than I imagined. We walked up the devils staircase which my butt can definitely vouch for, it is so sore! So yesterday morning we went White water rafting. The river was mostly a grade 3 - 4 but there is one waterfall that is a grade 5 as it's the biggest commercially raft-able waterfall in the world at 7m. All I have to say is that I loved it!!! It was so fun and I may have found a new calling in life :) I didn't fall out but got completely soaked. Our leaders were good craic too, trying to get us soaked.
