Thursday 20th April, 2017 An early start with 420kms to Eucla WA. The next Quarantine Station is at Border Village and the restrictions of what can be taken into WA is vast. Nothing fresh at all, only frozen or cooked food - definitely no honey! We are searched like criminals from top to toe, including the van and car, and even the glove box. Wednesday 19th April, 2017 So today 280kms to Fowlers Bay on the Great Australian Bight. We had lunch in Ceduna, SA down by the ocean, which was just lovely after the hot dry conditions we have been encountering. Tuesday 18th April, 2017 On our way to Wudinna, SA , which was to be next overnight stop, (377 km) we had lunch at Kimba, a great little town which is half way across Australia on the Eyre Highway from east to west. Monday 17th April The next leg of the trip, was 417km into Gladstone SA. We had lunch at Morgan, a very pretty spot on the Murray then onto Gladstone Caravan Park, SA. What a find.
