Pissy way to spend a day, in a bus...
Had to wake up at 05:30 to eat breakfast, check up and pack down everything and catch the bus at 06:45.
Then... I sat there for 4 hours on my way to Brisbane, where I had to change at 12. I had been hoping for one more early morning stroll along Byron bay and its beaches, but a busride of literally 14 hours is equally good, isn't it?
Usually I can catch a bus overnight, save on acomodation and pass time by sleeping, but there where no good matches to a tiny town like 1770 so I had to spend the entire day sittning in various uncomfortable positions. But hell, it gets me where I'm going. :)
So roughly between 06:45 and 21:15, i was on a bus, with short breaks to eat every like 4 hours or so.
By the way, the picture is a cheat, took it yesterday in byron since My phone ran out of battery on the bus. That meant I didn't even have any music for a long part of the final section, even though I scoured every resturant for outlets.
But now I'm here, in a magnificent hostel. Cost me 24 $ per night, includes breakfast, wifi, computer access, own bathroom for every dorm room, close to the beach... Damn good catch. And if it wouldn't be for the bed, I would have spent roughly 25$ all together today, which is Kinda alright I'd say.
Planning on staying two nights here and then straight up to magnetic Island where I now have a diving course book for thursday! :D
