Woke up to rain.... Apparently hurricane Linda had some rain left over and LA had the most rain overnight for months. Mind you it was warm rain. We travelled early in the morning to try and miss the traffic. The weather was very hot already. Looking forward to seeing the sea and beach of Santa Monica. Up early as we were going to the Warner brothers audio tour at 10 am. We wanted to eat breakfast somewhere near there. Took the Ventura highway. Found the studio in half an hour. Martin googled breakfasts and found one called bobs big boy on west riverside drive, Burbank that had a good review. Set my google maps to sat nav the way there. Woke about 4 am but managed to get back to sleep. Had a good sleep. The bed was very comfortable and the room quiet. We decided not to have breakfast at the hotel but to go out exploring. Journey up to London ok except the directions from AA led us through some estates to get to the Premier Inn in Bath Road. A very posh premier inn. Checked in at 9 and had a meal at 9.30.
