1 week in Vietnam and I have seen so much already!! This country so far is so different to anything that I have ever experience which is making it the perfect adventure... people over here live on so little it almost makes me feel guilty. The expectation to constantly buy goods from locals is crazy.. and a no thanks is never taken the first time as if because we are tourist we will have a load of money.. A strange concept for a backpacker indeed!! My Asian leg ...

Finished up in syndey on a high note .. had some really great roomies in my dorm when i headed back from newcastle ... got on a treat...managed to find myself being offered a free surf lesson by a local at manly beach... spent the day lying in the sun on bondi beach bronzing up good and proper and then to top it off had one hell of a big night on the town in syndey with my new found mates in only the backpacker fasion we could ... Overall Syndey rating pretty top...

So arrived safe and sound... a bit a bumpy start... sleeping through my alarm, not actually checking my departure time (apparently this is an essential when traveling) and managing to loose my wallet (travelers cheques, USD, cards incls.) NICE ONE Lyndall !!! Sent off in true wellington style ... wind and rain.. making for a bumpy ride ! Spent that day soaking up the sydney sun !!! great ... bronzed goddess here i come !!!
