Dear Luke
I was out walking this morning and talking to a friend who had just come back from Australia, remembered you and suddenly realised I'd missed your birthday!. I'm so very sorry. I see from your blog that you had a good time with or without hair.
Anyway many happy returns and I will try to be a better aunt in future.
We are having the kitchen done at the moment so life is very confusing and dusty. Your Mum is coming up on Friday just before they head off to India. It will be nice to see her. We too are off there on 23 Feb-on the aging hippy trail!
Lots of love and keep on enjoying yourself

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LUKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We hope you had a great day/eve out for your birthday. Didn't work too hard etc etc and had a few Aussie beers from the cooler! :-)
Take it easy for a few hours now..... ;-)
Enjoy the next part of the trip - I believe you are leaving Sydney today.

Have you shaved your head ?? if so please send us a photo so we will recognise you next time we see you !! Not sure we approve but hey who are we to say anything - just our role to keep you in check we think, though you may not agree.

Not impressed with the size of the shrimps!

Dear Luke
It was super to read about all your doings over Christmas. It took a bit of time to realise that Coogie was a beach and not, as I thought initially, our 17 year old Burmese cat! However you seem to have had a very different time from usual.
It was nice to see everyone last Saturday. We had a little walk all very spread out because Lucky lost his ball and your Mum and Dad had to spend ages looking for it. He also lost his bed several times because Barny bagged it whenever he vacated it. A bit like musical beds!
Anyway we did indeed raise a glass to you and I hope you have a very happy new year.
Much love
Sue

Hi Luke - Blue Mountains sound fantastic if a little scary - the absailing must have been quite testing - don't think I could have coped with the 30 metre drop but who knows - perhaps we'd better get the next plane out and give it a try - sure you'd love to see us !!!!
