It was good to hear from you, i am on my own here with a sleeping Oliver, Emma is at the dentist having a root filling done, dad is playing golf so i thought i would take this opportunity and send you a message. I am off to do my christmas shopping because i haven't done any, sounds familiar! Amy and Lewis are over the moon about the houseand can't wait for it to happen, i said to them that i would like to be a fly on the wall when they do their first lot of shopping, that is just for their food. Everone is set to help them clean the house up so rubber gloves and and pinnies are the order of the day. We saw Father Christmas on Tuesday he asked Amy and i if we had been good girls, Amy was explaining that he is not allowed to say ho ho any more, what is the world coming to? Anyhow you have mentioned loads of different insects but no mention of a spider don't they have them any more? I saw Elaine (Bignall) the other morning when i was bringing Emily back, unfortunately she was on the other side of the road we shouted out hello but that was it. That is me for now, continue enjoying yourselves, i cannot believe you have been gone for two weeks, take care and we all miss you. xxxx

Mum And Dad
Hello, hope all is well with you. By the time you read this you will have completed your trip. We met Karen the other morning and she only had to ask about you and then how were we, well i was off i just hope she didn't get upset with me, i still find it difficult. The main thing is that you are enjoying yourselves and doing something that most of us would love to do. I should have given you our christmas cards to deliver in Australia as it is i have only just sent them. I have got all the decorations down from the loft, dad and i went up to Brimsmore and bought two christmas trees i nearly choked because the bill came to £75, we don't think we will go there next year. The weather here continues to be tropical- i don't think, it just continues to be dreadful. By the way two of my CD's were missing Bryan Ferry and Dylanesque and the saxaphone one. Anyhow you will be relieved to know that i have found them. Anyhow we will continue to leave our messages, speak to you soon. love mum and dad xxx

Hi Luce
Glad you arrived safely in Perth. Bet it is very hot over there! Lewis says hello. Hope Donna is okay. Emily was asking after you, and I said you were on holiday, and she cried. She did say she misses you, and she said she misses Donna.

Kerry, Mike And Emily
Hi you two, Glad to hear you got there safely. How hot is it over there? Make sure you put plenty of sunblock on!
We are all fine, and are very jealous of you. We are going to think of some ways to make you jealous of us. Amy says she is having cottage pie tonight mmmmmmmmmmmm yummy, yummy and then apple crumble with ice cream or perhaps custard or maybe both, obviously as you can imagine mmmmmmmmmmm yummy, yummy.
Emily is fine and missing you both, as we all are. Mike and I are fine but as usual things are very busy. I took Emily to see the houses along Mudford road lit up for Christmas. Emma and I are taking Oliver and Emily to see Santa Claus at Brimsmore next week which will be good.
Amy and I are discussing whether to go to the cinema and see Stardust - have you seen it? Is it any good?
Well better go as our dinner is ready. mmmmmmmm yummy yummy
Take care you two

Marie
Hi Luce,
Glad it's all finally here for you - seems you've been waiting ages for it to happen.
Finally found the name of the ice bar in Auckland - Minus 5, Princes Wharf, 201 Quay St, Auckland Central - if the weather continues as it is now you might need cooling off - 23 degrees today and that feels cool!
Hoping to see you soon (will do some laundry for you is you like!) Love Marie
