Here I am!!! Ok so after a 22 hour flight I arrived into a very wet and stick Sydney at 8.30pm (Oz time) on Monday The flight was pretty good, could have been a lot worse! I sat next to an English girl for the 12 hours to Singapore. It was her first time coming out here and she was off to Hamilton for two weeks courtesy of her boyfriend (isn't it all luxury resorts there? Lucky cow!) So mostly just chatted and watched movies up to Singapore. Stopped for an hour there and the airport was lovely - very tranquil and calm - could def spend more time there!! And then 7 hours on to Sydney, which I mostly slept which was very naughty as I knew I was arrived night time into Sydney so should really have tried to stay awake to avoid the dreaded jet lag - suffices to say I am paying the price now as has woken up at 4am for the past two nights!! Anyway, so my first day here was a pretty relaxing one. I strolled down to the beach and reacquainted myself with Campbell Parade and then headed to Central to meet up with Jackie for lunch - friend from home who I haven't seen for 5 months. Was really good to see her, quite surreal though! She is very very brown, so am jealous!! Then had a quick look around the shops, and back to the beach for a much longed for flat white and relaxing. So all in all not too stressful a day!!! Day 2, and I went for a run along the beach and cliffs (I know - I even surprised myself!!!) and have been lazing for the rest of it. V hot here today, don't think I've acclimatized yet!!
