It's been a while! However, since mum and auntie Kate have been out we went to the Australian Open Tennis and saw Andy Murray play, which was great fun for us tennis fans! Then we flew to New Zealand and set off on our campervan journey around both islands! Our first adrenaline activity was white water rafting, we rafted the highest commercially rafted waterfall in the world at 7 metres!! It was so much fun and I'd never seen mum and Kate more scared!
The next day was black water rafting, which included tuning in caves for a few hours! This was also great fun, however, Kate said she had never done anything more terrifying in her life!!
The day after that Pete and I did a bungee swing over a canyon which was great fun! Mum and Kate were too scare to do this!
After a few days we crossed over on the ferry which was amazing! The sights were incredible!
Our next activity was Jet Boating in a canyon. This was amazing, with just Pete, mum and I on the boat (plus the driver) we had the whole place to ourselves and it was incredible going at the speed of 90mph!
After this we had a few days of rough weather which unfortunately stopped us from doing various activities. However, today we took a scenic flight from Queenstown to Milford Sound. The flight was the scariest thing ever! Which a 'bit' of turbulence Kate and I were petrified, seeing as I'm not a great flyer at the best of times! However, I did get on this tiny plane and thought I was going to die! When we 'safely' got to Milford Sound we had a cruise around the area, which was incredible! However, we then had to get back on the plane and come back! Luckily, we made it!
Only 6 days left of New Zealand now, then back to Melbourne for a few days and on to Malaysia to meet Pete's parents :)
