Woke up to a much better day today. Mostly sunshine. Off on a ten hour tour of the south shore. It is obvious from all of the countryside that Iceland is a young country created by volvanoes (lava and volcanic ash). Here is my first entry. The photos are giving me problems. The flight had its issues. Our Horizon Air flight to Seattle was cancelled but we were able to rebook on another flight that got us to Seattle in plenty of time to catch our Iceland Air flight. That leg went well. Arrived in Reykjavik at 7am, got to the hotel by 8:30am and immediately got into our room. We have a nice sunny day with 7 degrees temperature, but a 40 km/hr. wind, so it is quite chilly....
