Today we went to Milford Sound as part of a coach trip. Would recommend using a company to get here. Not only for the commentary and local knowledge, but otherwise your stuck on a narrow, windy, road behind about 5 coaches. Up early as taxi taking us to the coach pick up arrived at 7:05. Up before 8 and off to reception to book onto activities. Andy booked us on the 10:20 ziptrek and mum and Audrey booked us all on the Milford Sound coach tomorrow. Rushed off to get changed and stuffed a yoghurt down my neck then walked to the Gondola station. Got that up. Seats 4 in a carriage and lovely views out over Queenstown. Ziptrek was brill. I drove from Fox to Haast this morning. Don't remember much else until I woke up in Queenstown. Had a wander around for a bit of food shopping, before heading back to site. Once Andy turned up we discussed activities. Unfortunately it was too late to book so up early to make sure space etc.

Well what a crap nights sleep. Couldn't get warm, then needed a pee and then woke up scratching my bites. I've been attacked on my feet, especially my left. Off before 10 and heading towards Hokitika. Stopped just before Greymouth for a cig break. Not many places to stop. Where we stopped there was a restored engine so that kept dad busy while we had 2 smokes and used the facilities of the van. I didn't fancy trying the dunny.
