Another fantastic day in Yosemite National Park. We saw the amazing Bridalveil Falls and got soaked by the spray...freezing too, but who cares! The Little Yosemite Falls were also spectacular...plus we saw heaps of squirrels (Grace's favorites) and some baby deer...I was really hoping to see a bear or mountain lion, but not this time. Kids also happy to have some more snow play! In Bakersfield tonight, just a sleepover on the way to Vegas tomorrow...fairly avera...

Left SF in our Ford Mustang convertible...very excited Andrew in the back! Today we reached Yosemite...to find snow all through the National Park. The kids loved it..snow ball fights, walking into snow drifts and generally getting cold and wet! oh yeh, we also visited Mariposa Grove to see the giant Sequoia trees...amazing. We are heading back again tomorrow to check out more of the beautiful natural features the park had to offer.

Our last day in SF... A tour of the SS Pamminto, a WWII submarine... A ex submariner volunteer told us it took 4 months to build and that during the war years the US govt built over 200 altogether, most built by women!! Then we hit the Wax Museum and hung out with Jack Nocholson, every US president, Liz Taylor, Joe Di Maggio, Salvador Dali, King Tut and some others! Tonight was my highlight of SF, where I may just leave my heart... A great dinner at the famous Fr...

A big day...Breakfast at the famous Boudin bakery, then we headed to Alcatraz...amazing and the best audio tour ever!! We managed to escape from Alcatraz to head back the streets of San Fransisco for a traditional cable car ride and a huge walk in the city...just like Karl Malden...especially Lombard St, the crookedest street in the world. And a Hard Rock dinner...kids in heaven...now all in bed, planning for tomorrow!!
