I write this message using my laptop on my lap using someone else's internet connection, possibly the neighbour next door. There is something rather good about using something for free. Hi. Sunday 26th Nov. I hope you are both well. Louise I am glad you recovered from your skin rash. I expect it was mos y related. Louise your journal entries are excellent. I am wondering if Lewis has penned a few paragraphs for you, very very doubtful. Don't spoil lewis on his bithday if you do barter with him, to pen a journal entry. Sent lewis an email last night 25th nov. Internet working now after jake twiddled with the system, then claimed to have sorted it. I now have the router linked to my laptop. So if i want to use my laptop mobile ie. in bed i will now hav to have the router plugged in somewhere. All this takes the meaning out of laptop. I will wind jake up and go round to his place and insist that i password his newly installed wirefree system. Enjoy! love mum

Hey Lewis and Louise!

Hope you are both well and enjoying Laos. Very adventurous. We are in Ranong having caved in and had to go and give $20 to the Burmese military junta. Oh well, bought some cheap fags which the guys there swore were the exact replica of Marlboro lights. Opened them up and they look like the worst cigarettes in the world. They don't taste great. Have 200.
We went for a couple of nights in Bangkok on Khao San. One big drinking night, one day in hiding and one day sight seeing. Then we bussed it down to Ranong via Surat Thani which was 19 hours. I don't recommend doing the night journey we did. It did involve a 3 hour lay over in the cafe at the end of the world tho.
We had to give up on Ko Chang as we want to save our cash and head in the right direction. We went to Ko Payam for 3 days which was v nice. Small quiet island off Ranong coast with only motorbike tracks. Right up your street!
After much deliberation have decided to stump up the cash and go to the Similans for diving. The cheapest is with Seadragon dive centre in Khao Lak if you fancy it. Will let you know how it goes.
Really enjoyed the time we had travelling. Great meeting you guys.

Thursday 9th Novemember Very cold tonight. Have printed some of your photos from your journal. We are going to place them in a book ( loveingly ) And write notes, hopefully we can publish this book and make a few bob out of you two, then we are off to somewhere hot ! !. I have been throwing the contents of the house out this week, a sort of cleansing process, i opened a tin of rathe's meat and found myself throwing it into the bin instead of his bowl. Has this all clearing gone too far ? Rathe is well despite now being toyless. Dad lost the 6week job in Nigera as the visa was delayed. I hav all the xmas decorations out as i want to halve them, but as they are so pretty i find throwing out mental torcher. Miles is take over the processing NOW. hi you to bums, thanks for the car lewes i had 140 but it keep going, dangers toy but i like, scuba pipster i am liking your pictures, i will meet you to before you two bofore you come back to home, f*#k england, think about never coming back if you can help it, it must be so good out there buy the pictures, so jealous take care you to, love me
