Got here late last night after the maddest journey ever, which involved 60 year old men! YUK!!
The journey here was completely nuts, the bus was 2 hours late and we nearly crashed!!! 2 coaches were careering into each other like they do in the movies and then the first coach went in front of ours and kept braking randomly! if that wasn´t enough! the 2 coaches then stopped and the drivers got out and had a full fist fight in the street!! then all the passengers got off each bus (except me as I couldn't speak enough Spanish to understand what was happening!) and pulled them apart. Once all that was sorted, everyone got back on board but our bus wouldn´t start, so all the blokes had to get out and push it! got here eventually but obviously a bit nerve wracking as its late and I was in some random location in Colombia!
Anyway, after all that I have arrived in a gorgeous hostel, with my own room and a view of the sea, today I go diving (or maybe Ill just lie around in a hammock!)
3 days later.....
Well I have spent the last 3 days chilling in hammocks, diving and seeing some amazing coral (some very strange textures that look a little bit like errr a brain!! no I haven't been on Colombias finest!!!) I should get some pictures. The hurricain in Jamaca is affecting diving here as the viz is terrible, we keep getting freak waves, hopefully it would have passed by tomorrow and i can finish off this diving course, and then its back to Medellin (hopefully I wont stay too long! its far far too much fun there!) and then south to Chile to get myself to NZ for skiing.
I am going to miss Taganga load, the people, the scenery, the diving, the sun, but not the mozzies grrrr!!!!
