Hi all, well I did originally write this entry at the airport but it crashed...I was annoyed to say the least! I'll try and rememer my entry anyway.

 Maccies was fab in KL :-) Next day we headed to Melaka, basically a stopover on the way to Singapore. It's ok, but as its another national holiday everything is closed. The hostel is also like being in prison, Sarah is literally sleeping in a kennel! Walls are made of cardboard...oh dear god. Anyway, ate curry off a banana leaf for lunch, v delicious although I am still unable to bring myself to use my fingers to eat and have to use a fork...I'm obviously not a proper Malaysian. Briony and I went shopping! It was very exciting, highlight of Melaka was buying 2 abercrombie and fitch t shirts and a skirt for about a tenner. Went to bed early as the hostel was so depressing!

 Thank god we are going to Singapore! Spend another day on a bus, but finally arrive. This city/country/ whatever it is is amazing! The pics are of Japan coz they don't have one of Singa, but it looks similar! Only have one night here so naturally decided to get hammered. The hotel is v nice, strange for intrepid. Went to a weird place in chinatown for dinner and ate cold chicken...I miss the Golden Star! Then went to Raffles, the poshest hotel in Asia. It was seriously nice, 500 quid a room per night. Everyone goes to have a Singapore Sling in the Long Bar (a cocktail) so we did the touristy thing. can't wait til I can afford to go there properly :-)

Then went to the area around the river called Clarke Quay, which is also lovely. Wish we had more time here, although it is muchos expensive. Had a few cocktails then  went to the Mnistry of Sound! 15 bacardi breezers later we managed to lose Briony for over an hr and found her soaking wet...heaven knows where she'd been, she can't rememer that (or pulling one of the irish either haha). I was sick the next morning, so that means it must have been a good night!

Dragged my hungover arse to the airport to check in 6 hrs early coz we had heard so many good things about the airport! how random. There is even a cinema and a pool! We mainly ate though until it was time to jet off to Brisbane! Love love love Singapore. Next stop Oz....

 Ps I forgot to say in KL I held a boa contstrictor round my neck..it was a real fatty!
