We are enjoying your blog - it sure brings back memories of our trip around OZ. We agree with an earlier comment: the zoo in Sydney is well worth a visit when you are there again.

Welcome to the land of Oz. Smoke from the fires travelled west to Wagga where it set off a mall fire alarm. Shops closed for 40 minutes. Who would have thought. Tomorrow Wagga should hit 37' Cel. Hope it's cooler on the coast for you both. The album images you supplied were fantastic. Hope to see more, this time from the poop deck.

If you like zoos, Sydney's is one of THE best. The location is spectacular and you can get there with a ferry from Circular Quay - I think it is the stop before Mosman. Wonderful views from the zoo avian centre back to the city and the trained bird show is great. Try the trip out to Watson Harbour for fish and chips too if you have time.
