Day 66-67

We were up at 0530 for a bus, ferry, bus, train to arrive in Cairns. We arrived about 1600 and checked into our hostel.

The following day we had look around the CBD and it was boiling, unfortunately the Lagoon was being refurbished and Cairns does not have a beach so there was no where to cool off. We headed back to the hostel to book our PADI Openwater Course and much to our surprise it was fully booked for just over a week. From here we continued down to the Esplanade whereby they had various fitness stations, which of course we had go on.

As we arrived earlier in Cairns than planned and there was less to do than we imagined we started to look for a little work. We called about 40 different hostels but to no avail. So we decided to head to Port Douglas tomorrow for a well deserved chill out.
