This tunnel runs under the mountains. It was finished in 1954 and it's gradient is 1:10. On the right hand side you can see bent steel and concrete which is the remains of an avalanche cabin which was designed for cars and humans to go into in the event of an avalanche. Unfortunately, once it was erected, it was demolished almost immediately following the first avalanche.
