Our flight to Singapore was amazing. Singapore Airlines is clearly the don of aeroplanes. Our trip to Mirissa was short and sweet. The last stop in our whirlwind tour of Sri Lanka and we thought we should explore the beaches. We arrived after a couple of bus journeys and a couple of Indian-style helpful rickshaw drivers. We got to Nuwara Eliya in Hill Country by train early Friday morning. No need to guess if it was the right train, only westerners were waiting for it, tourist trap. Luckily the short flight over was at least some silver lining for the hassle at Chennai airport and the flight itself was fairly uneventful.
