Dubrovnik is another walled city but this time on the coast of Croatia. It's much bigger than Kotor, more touristy and easily the most expensive place we have been. We stayed with a nice old lady who said to call her our mamma in Dubrovnik (bless). So from Belgrade we headed to the coast of Montenegro. Formerly part of Serbia, Montenegro is now the newest country in the world after gaining independence in 2006. The whole country has only 500,000 people which is not surprising when you see the inhospitable landscape.
