Les enfants table at dinner. Amy had the bonne idea to request separate tables for kids and adults. Everybody had fun. The waitstaff and other patrons were very gracious.

The kids got their own table for dinner tonight. Excellent manners.

Flying buttresses. We enjoyed visiting Notre Dame. Girls spotted cool features on the facade, and we managed to be reasonably quiet inside. There was a mass going on inside, so kids got some exposure to religion, check that box for parenting responsibilities. Sure it was in French , details. After all, we took them to see Godspell in English last year. After Notre Dame, we spent the day walking, eating, and playing outside. We even got to watch a policeman...

Total downpour with thunder and wind at notre dame. Seeking shelter in cafe! Our drinks were 28 euro thanks to location. Ouch, but it was a weather emergency. The F family saw on news that Loire valley had fist-sized hail during this storm. Good thing we brought helmets. Surely that can't happen twice in one week, can it?
