It finaly arrived!! We had been looking forward to the Rugby World Cup for months and had put in a lot of planing for it!! For the opening ceremony we went down to the Auckland PArty Zone which was a huge Marquee set up on the Waterfront. On the build up to Christmas we went to Christmas in the Park which is held every year in the Auckland Domain. We had great weather so got our picnic and a few beers and headed up to the domain with a few friends to find a spot to sit down in. What a concert!! The sets that they both played were perfect. The stage was amazing. It was one of the best concerts to have been at.

The Waitakere Ranges Regional Park includes more than 16,000ha of native rainforest and coastline. After a hard few months of work, we decided to fly to Queenstown for a week of skiiing and see what all the hype was about! John arrived in a day before me so I flew down on the Saturday morning and now I know what people are talking about when they say the flight into Queenstown is AMAZING!!
