Smog in Madagascar?? I don't remember that being in the film.
Bet your dad looks a picture in his new gear! Reminds me of Cindy and our trip to Peurto Banus - have you checked the draws in the hotel room to see if the previous people left any clothes he could wear - haha!!. Keep smiling ;-)

Liz it sounds fantastic apart from sid the snake! I can imagine the sounds at night from the photographs. bet you feel proud of yourself already and only days into your experience. look forward to more, loads of love xxx

The hidden beach looks idyllic - reminds me of a film - perhaps you can adapt a screenplay for The Beach II. Sounds like you are thoroughly immersed in the way of life now - puts the daily 9-5 routine into definite perspective. Keep smiling ;-)

I assume you were sitting under a snake rather than a snack?? Then again it could be both... Well done you for getting into your solo traveller groove. Then again, don't get too used to it - your first visitor will be arriving soon! Chiswick misses you in the meantime - I've adopted Gail's as my second home which is NOT good! K xx
Gus
Glad to hear you've settled in and getting on OK. Love the thought of diving with hump backs - hope you have your waterproof camera at the ready! Keep smiling :-)
