How long hasd it been since i have posted a msg? at least a few weeks i believe! thanks for your email the other day - i replied brief but meanifuly! Hope you got my new number, i need you to be able to contact me with your coming home date so i can lavish you in a party! prob be only me and john but hey we are a damn good party! cant wait - we will get back to arranging our dance trips and double dates once your back inbetween me and mr carter possibly going to spain, celebrating our 1year (i know!!!!!!!) and moving in together! hetic few months at the start of 2008!
ok as usual me and girles are doing £10 christmas gifts, so i might treat you to the dance show when your back as my christmas gift to you - i didnt catch jamie in time to give him anything and ill send you a card via email so you have something to open.,..sort of! but i think a gift of going out will be very good for when your back!

A great way to keep in touch - we had to make do with letters and photos when Claire and Steve lived in KL. Amazing to hear that you have visited so many places etched in our memories too - though I suppose there are a certain amount of 'tourist' things we all do. Top of Petronas tower for us was a dramatic thunder storm - all I could think about was getting down quick, quick. Melaka I thought quite magic - specially Baba Nonya where we stayed. As for durian - I'm afraid you were rather foolish. Hope you avoid too many unwise decisions in the future. As for what you are seeing of 'real' life, that will stay with you for ever as being very special.
Congratulations on this blog - a superb effort. And keep the pace of work in perspective. What a wonderful experince for the girls you work with.
Autumn here now - leaves changing colour. Weekend with Elizabeth here and talking of you and your exploits. Keep safe.
Love, Sue

Wow, more great pictures! It's really good to see that you've been getting out and about as well as working, although the work looks excellent as well. Although durian=bleurgh!
I think you might have done the same tour as me in Melaka - it wasn't given by a bloke who can say 3 words in about 187 languages was it? I loved the place, especially the Chinese temples and the Dutch buildings, I thought it was amazing. Hope you get to have lots more adventures and enjoy the new work placement.
