Once I got off the boat from the Perhentians I was on to a mini bus and on my way, it was a long way round though I had to connect in the middle of nowhere with another mini bus which then took me to the cameron highlands which only just arrived in time to get me to the coach for my connection to KL. I arrived in KL at about 9 and a long day travelling. It turned out that Sam only arrived that morning after after catching the night bus instead. Our new hostel was really nice but didn't have any frogs in the shower, gutted! The next day we had to make the most of our time so was up early and got our tickets to the Petronis tower (bonus they are free) we got allotted a time in the afternoon so decided to go to the Batu caves after climbing the 200ish steps to the top where we got a little hot again, we went in to the caves which was really good you could here all the bats around us but you couldn't see any of them. Once we had climbed back down all the steps we made our way back to the towers and got to watch a 3d video about the petrol (yawn!) after getting x-rayed we got to go up to the sky walkway, and saw a fantastic view of the city. Other then that there is not a lot to do but it's well worth a visit plus it's free. that night we ate from one of the market streets were all the tables are on the pavements but the food is really good.
The next day we went for a wonder around the rest of the town seeing what's about, I was in central market when I walked round a corner and Noodle and Star from the Perhentians were in front of my I could believe it. Well it's not everyday when your in a market in KL and someone shouts you by the name storm!! Had a bit of a natter then headed back to the hostel as our time in KL was up and it was off to the airport to catch a plane to Borneo.
Clyde the Orang-utan here we come!!
