After our 4th and final overnight train in China we arrived at the boarder for Hong Kong and after completing many different forms and standing in different cues we made it through. It was then to the staiton for a train in to Kowloon (1st class again) who said you have to slum it when you backpack he he! Arrived at the hotel and got to the room hoping for a nice comfy bed to chill out on but o no it was like they had forgotten the matress, not good!!! After went out for a bit of a wonder around town, found Prad, D&G and afew other bargin shops, dont worry I didn't go shopping mum. That night we had our farwell dinner with the group, Lulu didn't let us down when ordering, she ordered chicken, nothing wrong with that, but this was whole chicken. Head, feet the lot!!! They will really eat anything.

The next day we moved to our hostel which was nice and clean then met up with some of the others from the group and went over to Hong Kong Island. We got the tram to the peak (very very steep) the views from the top were good, but the smog ment the piccy's got a bit blurred, sorry nothing I could do about it. That night we managed to find an Irish bar and it sold Strongbow so I had to have a few, it would have been rude not to!

More sightseeing the next day and then met up with a few others for more food and then the Hong Kong light show on the harbour. We went on the Star ferry harbour cruise and Soho for a few drinks the next day, with a little trip to the temple Street Market. The market is just what you would expect, the overhead adertisment boards are lit up everywhere and there are people preparing food on the street.

After our short Hong Kong adventure its time to head for Thailand, but it's been fantastic in the China, and really glad I started here.
