Wow stunning photos, I especially like the mini baths, perfect beano size! Japan seems to be full of contradictions; from bright colours & tall buildings to natural colours and fresh air! The Pirate Ship looked incredible too, reminded me of the Goonies! Thanks for the detailed account of your nose bleed too sam...mmm delightful! And Liz I hope that incense wafting will be something you will do now everywhere you go!
Unsurprisingly not much has happened here, other than the Snow, although by the way the news is covering it you would think the snow is an indication of armageddon!
Saturday morning here at the moment and thinking James and I will have a fry up lunch (or more of a grill up!), as I can't remember the last time we had one...Yum!
Happy Travelling, Miss you Both.
I'm sure we will see you on Skype very soon,
Love The Dunnes

Where are our snow day buddies??!! Queens Park just isn't the same without Beans, hot chocolate and sliding down the path to the pub.
Japan sounds amazing - glad you are having a fab time. Liz did you take your NYE outfit to wear? Sam - the sumo is safe with us. Be sure to post some 'Lost in Translation' pix and I want to see some kareoke action. Have a saki for me.
Miss you both. Love you lots Hxxx

Hi Liz and Sam,
I am enjoying reading your blog while feeding Barney (who appears to have timed teething with my return to work - joy).
Glad you are there safely - good timing before the 'snow chaos' over here.
I have a slight concern over the state of the year six breakfast box having read Lea's message - go easy Ant!
Looking forward to future updates...
Love Becky x

Sammy, hope the guide is coming in handy. In Asakusa, if you take a stroll along to the rive you should be able to spot the Asahi building, known for its giant "golden turd" on the roof. Supposed to resemble the head on a beer but sure you will agree the nickname it has gained is much more apt.
Very jealous. Great time to be in Japan. Fresh crisp air and blue skies (now that I 've said that it will probably chuck it down).
Remember to visit Andy's Izakaya and chow down on plenty of yakitori (grilled chicken skewers). Are you going to dine at GOnpachi as well? Ahhh the memories.
All the best and enjoy the pirate ship in Hakone.

Hey Lizzy, we are sat in the staffroom having brunch (I have been invited as an honoury member - am feeling very special).
Lots of snow here, DB has just told us we are closing at 2.00pm - yay! Julie hasn't made it in, she had a full 6 inches last night (Ant's words, not mine!) Year 6 planning is not going well, they are slowly unravelling!!!!
After half an hour of trying to open the packaging, Ant has christened the Year 6 breakfast box!
Couple of questions:
Ant says Block D Unit 2 has been emailed - please email back to us by Friday!
Parky says can you let her know what phase 1 & 2 is for Debate Writing?
Sounds like you are both having an amazing time - missing you loads! We love you lots!
Big love
Lea, Sarah and Ant
PS Keep your eyes peeled for your scarf!!!

Sam, your name is mud and your reputation in tatters having failed to return your MBUK issue blackberry charger. Interpol will be in contact at the border.
