2/9/9 Wednesday Byron Bay to Brisbane We woke and packed our stuff ready for the bus later on today. Liz did the laundry and we checked out of the hostel. 29/8/9 Saturday Sydney-Surf Camp (spot x) We departed Sydney on Keanos bus with only two other passengers at 6am. We drove out of Sydney travelling over the Harbour Bridge to the North shore. Keano entertained us with his many stories and probably many tall tales. 22/8/9 Saturday Christchurch to Sydney We woke fairly early and finished packing for the ride to the airport. We walked 20 mins in to town carrying all our bags and amazingly we managed without any rest stops !!! 19/8/9 Queenstown to Christchurch Spud, our last driver for Kiwi picked us up for the drive to Christchurch. We drove out of Queenstown along the Karawau gorge with its river. 17/8/9 Queenstown After breakfast we collected our skis and lift passes from the hire shop and went to catch the shuttle bus up to Coronet Peak, the nearest resort to Queenstown. it took half an hour to drive up to the resort and it was sunny and clear yet again...we are so lucky.
