Traveling to Siem Reap was not as painful as I have imagined, but the trip nonetheless caused me some injury (wallet related). Yes, I was scammed, very mildly, it took a good few 50 cent beers in Siem Reap to totally aneasthesise the niggling bite by a deceptive tour guide. The lesson was, do NOT change money at a border in an empty bus stop. Siem Reap is as beautiful, mysterious as everyone say. go visit.
