hey all!today we walked the tongaraero crossing, got up at 4.45 to be picked up at 5.30 by a bus and driven to start of track. we set off walking at 7.20. windy most of the day, face is now rosy the nose up from where my coat was. saw mt doom, but were not aloud to climbn at was too windy and if we were blown off it might hurt when we landed. afert VERY steep scrmbly bit we went down into a flat volcanic crator, the mountain blew its top off a long time ago so wa...
