Who knew that Brits and Australians had a different way of speaking than Canadians. Some argumentative words:
Aluminum (They say alu-min-E-um)
Tomato (People really do say tom-Ah-to)
Apricot (Brits say Ape-ricot)
Pudding (It means dessert??)
Jello and Jelly and Jam (Jam is right but Jelly is Jello?)
Kebabs - Who knew shaved meat tasted so good in a wrap
White Cheddar Cheese - They have no orange cheese!
Tim Tams - I still don't understand the hype, but mmm chocolate!
Tall skinny cans of Coke - Much easier to hold
Oporto - Healthier than KFC with all the goodness.
Just returned from the blue mountains, it was great fun. I will have pictures up soon from the trip and my birthday!
