So we arrived in Washington D C after a two hour delay flight in San Fran and a delay in Kansas City. We left at 8am and arrived at our hostel by 1am (long day!) In 12 hours we had only eaten two cookies that tasted like fish! We were glad to get here! Let's just say we will never fly with Frontier again! 1st day we bought our train ticket for New York (woo hoo!) We visited The Capitol, the Botanical Gardens (I had way too much fun in the children's garden!), the Smithsonian Space Centre, the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History and not forgetting The White House! Washington is so grand, quiet and beautiful! I love it here! The sun may also be a contributing factor! Lol!

The 2nd day we walked to all the monuments! We saw the Washington Monument, the 2nd World War Monument, the Lincoln Monument, the Martin Luther King Monument, the Korean War Monument, the Roosevelt Monuments and the Jefferson Monument. My feet hate me again! We finished off the day with fajitas and mini desserts at the Hard Rock Cafe! I asked Steve if he were to get a tattoo to commemorate his travels he said 'Hard Rock Cafe', I guess we've been there a lot! Lol! We have had such a great time in Washington D.C, I would definitely come back!

P.s It's about time Rosalyn (relative) made an appearance, maybe we'll see her in New York, lol!
