So we arrived in LA and I thought what am in doing in America! It'll take a while for me to warm up to America! Doesn't help that I really miss Oz! But I'm just gonna go with it and make the most of it!
First day we slept from 10am till 3pm, felt I'll! We left Auckland at 1pm on Saturday on a 13 hour flight to arrive in LA where it was 6.30am on Saturday morning, so we did Saturday twice reminded me of the film ground hog day! Steve got the coolest haircut and bought a pair of vintage jeans at a thrift shop! He really likes LA! 2nd day we went on a city tour to the Hollywood sign, drove around celebrity houses, went to Venice beach, all the boulevards, and rodeo drive! Later we had a free BBQ at the hostel and met some young Aussie dudes who had been to Vegas. Their adventures sounded like the young version of the hangover, very entertaining sound guys! Today we walked in the sweltering heat to Kat Von D's LA Ink Tattoo shop! Amazing! I love that show! Chilled out and checked out some tats! Bought her signed book and some perfume! I actually spent money on myself! Wow! That was the highlight of LA for me! We are off to another free BBQ tonight and heading off to Las Vegas on the lux bus tomorrow, can't wait!  Vegas here we come! L x
