Hello everyone! We are currerently in Noosa Heads. Our plan of driving up to Airlie Beach is changed to Brisbane..Not enough time and bad weather put a stop to it. We had surprisingly enough good weather yesterday (the weather forecast forecasted rain). today it is a bit more sketchy..but well.. the sun is supposed to come back on thursday. I am looking forward to my Fallout Boy concert in Brisbane friday night. That will be amazing. I am really looking forward to that. Neither Marthe or Ingunn share my enthusiasm, but hey, I perfectly fine going to the concert by myself..I just have to find the Brisbane Entertainment center.. so Far I've hd no luck in any of our free maps.. Hahah have we told you? we doscivered that all the information places has a lot of aps, so we just pop by them avertime we get to a new place. That way we have saved a lot of money.

We have spent almost a week altogether in the area around Surfers Paradise. One day in Dreamworld, you can see us on the photo of this blog..haha nice isn't it? One day shopping.. Then the rain came and we had one day in Burleigh Heads. we spent almost the entire day in the van and met that aussie gut steven who brought us hot chocolate in the van because he felt sorry for us..then it was back to surfers again..

We are still camping by the beaches or in parking lots. This morning some guy where hammering on our van. He gave us a warning and said that we coulnd't camp there and sleep in or van. He gave us a warning and said that we could get a fine ut to 750 dollars. that is 3000kr!!!! so we moved the van about 20 m to another parking, got up, had breakfast (ryvita and nutella) and then we were off to the internet cafe. Oh and when we are talking about fines.. This last time when we went to surfers it was pooring down, so we decided to park our car by the beach with our side door against the road and not the ocean because the waterspray was flying into the side of our van. the next morning we slept in until 10.30 and when we finally got up we had a parking ticket of 70 dollars on our window. So the parking ticket guy must have given it to us while we were in our van. Ad the reason you ask? Because we had parked our car in the opposit direction of the traffic on that side of the street. not the best way to start the day...

Later that day we decided to go out in Surfers. While we were sitting on our blanket outside our van three swedish guys in another campervan came over. They were named Filip, Erik and Erik. we had seen them a couple a days before and guessed that they were swedish, and they had done the same to us. We all went out to a place called O' Malleys. it was, hold your breath, an Irish pub..haha..who could tell? live muisic suited Marthe. We bought a jug of the cheepest beer, but there were no free tables so we had to ask some guys if we could take up the end at their table. and so we did. it turned out that they were having like a weekend long bachelor party for three of the guys. and when they noticed us drinking beer jugs, they started buying jug after jug after jug.. Filip really got along with one of the aussie guys and they were dancing, screaming and acting crazy. it was quite entertaining. Finally Filip was to drunk and the same with one of the aussie guys, Brian I think it was. they got kicked out. Marthe, Ingunn, a guy called Brad and myself went to another place called the Avenue. A cool place, with good music. The three of us girls had told Brad about our parkingticket earlier that evening, and then when he walked us home, he threw 70 dollars in our van and then run of. he insisted on paying. Damn you Brad, we still feel bad..

The day after the sun was up and we had a day at the beach. Some dinner before we started driving towards Noosa Heads. We ended up driving in the dark, and our far-away-headlights (I have no idea what they are called in english) didn't work..Damn van.. we parked in Noosa Heads at aroung 9.30 pm and went straight to bed.

yesterday was another day at the beach. but it was so windy that I think I will find sand on my body fo the next month. This was the first beach in a long time that didn't have to big waves so we were actually able to swim. and that was very nice..or naaaajs as we scandinavians say..=) yesterday we tried going out in Noosa, but the only place open was the Koala Bar. We guessed the average age to be around 19 years old. except an old guy looking exactly like santa claus. so we gave the thing up and was in bed before 12. since the weather today is not on our side I think we are driving up to Harvey Bay. we'll have a look at Frasier Island and how much it will cost us to get there. To bad it is predicted rain until thursday..

p.s. to all of you who are wondering how I sorted out the shot glass issue..I waited two days, then went back to Hard Rock. They were still sold out, but I went up to the bar and, one of the bartenders sold me a shot glass from the bar. and it looked exactly like the one in the Rock shop. Brilliant!! so the collection is still up to date..
