The drive back to Monte Carlo was like no other being mainly on the French motorway with their crazy antiquated toll booths. In between our convoy cut a fine image for Porsche with each group of 6 cars moving as one at the posted limit (up to 130 kph) and with the ever couteous and skillful Europeans making way for us as they also did as we descended through the tight streets of Monte Carlo leaving our cars for the last time outside the hotel in Casino Square.
Final farewells were made at the last dinner, most very sincere, some even tearful, evidence of some newly formed friendships something Helen and I have observed at the end of most Porshe Tours in Aus. It was no different here. And this is largely why we support the brand. Porsche is more than just the product it is all about people and a shared passion. Well done Porsche Travel Club and a special acknowledgement of our wonderful and professional guides Torsten and Marc.
